This bathroom project was all about maximising space without compromise, The client was keen to have both a separate bath and shower, despite working within a tight and narrow layout, By carefully considering the available space, we focused on using the length rather than the width to create a design that felt open and functional.

This approach led to the staggered layout, which allowed for a distinct wet area while maintaining a seamless flow, A key design feature was the bold use of green tiles, which the client loved and we suggested laying them in a herringbone pattern to add depth and visual interest, creating a dynamic contrast against the warm wood elements of the basin unit. These natural tones balanced the industrial feel of the floor tiles, resulting in a space that felt eclectic yet cohesive.

One of the biggest challenges was the structural limitation of concrete subfloors, which prevented a level-entry shower, so rather than opting for a standard shower tray, we elevated the shower area onto a platform, turning a constraint into a design feature, This not only added a sense of grandeur but also created a clear division within the room.

Careful product selection played a crucial role in making the space both stylish and practical, so we used Vado brassware to accommodate the client's low water pressure while maintaining a sleek aesthetic, To balance the room’s sharper industrial elements, a double-ended acrylic bath was chosen, featuring curved edges that echoed the soft lines of the mirror and a Faeber Zero rimless toilet was also included for easy maintenance and a streamlined look.

The design process was highly collaborative, with most decisions made during face-to-face consultations and a follow-up calls to finalise details, The client initially thought a separate bath and shower wouldn’t be possible, but by trusting our expertise, we were able to deliver a layout that met all of their needs and the final result is a beautifully designed, modern bathroom with a perfect balance of colour, texture, and function.
