As part of a comprehensive three-bathroom project, the client sought to transform their loft space into a "timeless" sanctuary. The challenge was to maintain the same sophisticated blend of traditional and contemporary elements found in the lower-floor bathrooms while adapting to the unique architectural character of a loft conversion. The space needed to feel intentional and cohesive, echoing the design language of the family and ensuite bathrooms while standing out as its own distinct retreat.

The process

To ensure the loft felt like a natural extension of the home, our designer continued the "seamless aesthetic" by utilising the same core materials found throughout the property. The process centred on "balancing heritage with modern lines", integrating traditional silhouettes that provide character with contemporary layouts that maximise the loft's footprint. By focusing on a "timeless" palette, we ensured that the unique angles of the conversion were highlighted rather than hidden, creating a space that feels both historically grounded and ultra-modern.

Property-Wide Cohesion: Specified European Tiles Essance for the walls and floors, mirroring the family and ensuite bathrooms to create a unified and high-end visual flow throughout the home.

Loft Space Optimisation: Expertly navigated the unique dimensions of a loft conversion to create a layout that feels spacious, airy, and full of architectural interest.

Transitional Design Fusion: Curated a "perfect blend" of traditional fixtures and contemporary finishes, fulfilling the client’s brief for a room that is both classic and current.

Character-Driven Curation: Focused on a "timeless" aesthetic that uses texture and form to inject personality into the space, ensuring the loft is more than just a functional room.

Luminous Atmosphere: Utilised the light-reflective qualities of the Essance porcelain to enhance the sense of space, making the most of the loft's elevated position.

Seamless Style Execution: Delivered a high-quality finish that epitomises elegance, successfully concluding a multi-room project that meets the diverse needs of a stunning Wimbledon home.
